The People's Procuratorate of Jiujiang District was rebuilt from the original suburban People's Procuratorate, Sihongshan People's Procuratorate, and Yuxikou People's Procuratorate. On September 29, 2008, the office address of the procuratorate was moved to the Technical Investigation Comprehensive Building located in Jiujiang Economic Development Zone, Wuhu.
